About Jack

A career built around curiosity, change and possibility.

For more than five decades, Jack Spain has worked where technology, leadership and business transformation meet.

Experience is most valuable when it helps someone else move forward.

My professional journey began in the 1970s and has crossed large corporations, entrepreneurial ventures, technology companies, consulting assignments and executive leadership roles. The titles and industries changed. The common thread did not: I was usually helping people and organizations prepare for something new.

My personal and professional development includes a bachelor’s degree in accounting and economics, 6,000+ hours of corporate leadership development programs and industry conferences including graduate studies, the two-year GE Financial Management Program, a two-year statistical analysis program, a two-week intensive Duke University Executive Leadership Program, and completing one year of a Masters in Management program.

In early 2025, I earned recognition as a “Certified Member of the AI Class” from Section, where I have successfully completed dozens of AI-based training courses.

Today, I remain engaged through business advisory work, career and leadership coaching, writing, technology research and conversations with leaders navigating their own next chapters.

Technology

Translate possibility into practical value.

Leadership

Help leaders excel at managing, coaching, leading and optimizing the value delivered by their team members.

Change

Prepare early, learn continuously and adapt.

“Pay it forward” is more than a phrase. It is the way I desire to apply what I have learned.
